Making the Adobo Seasoning Recipe

Step 1: Start with a clean bowl and add in your garlic powder.

Step 2: Next we’re going to add in our salt.

Step 3: Then add in the ground black pepper.

Step 4: Next add in your dried oregano.

Step 5: And lastly we add in our ground turmeric.

Step 6: Now that we have all the ingredients in the bowl, we are going to mix them all together!

Step 7: Store in a glass spice jar. I used a silicone funnel to help me get it all in the jar without making a mess on my counter.

Step 7: Lastly, I placed a label on top so I can differentiate all my homemade spices! The label and silicone funnel came with this set of glass spice jars!
How to store homemade adobo seasoning
Store your homemade adobo seasoning in a clean, airtight glass spice jar to keep it fresh and flavorful. Make sure the jar is completely dry before adding the seasoning, as moisture can cause clumping or spoilage over time. Keep it in a cool, dark place—like a pantry or spice cabinet—away from direct sunlight and heat.
When stored properly, your adobo seasoning will stay aromatic and delicious for up to 6 months, ready to add a burst of flavor to any dish.
