- Soften the butter: Leave it at room temperature for about 15–20 minutes until it’s soft but not melted.
- Mix ingredients: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, dried herbs, salt and pepper.
- Blend well: Use a fork or small spatula to mash and mix everything until smooth and evenly combined.
- Chill or serve:
- * For immediate use, spread it on warm bread, vegetables, or steak.
- * For later use, shape it into a log using parchment paper, wrap tightly, and refrigerate (lasts up to 1 week) or freeze (up to 3 months).

This is a small batch (1/4 cup) to have for one meal. I usually prep more and freeze extras for later.
