Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup Butter unsalted, softened
  • 1 clove Garlic finely minced (or ½ teaspoon garlic paste)
  • ¼ teaspoon Dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 pinch Salt if using unsalted butter
  • 1 pinch Black pepper

Equipment

  • 1 Small Bowl
  • 1 Fork
  • 1 Garlic Press or Knife

Method
 

  1. Soften the butter: Leave it at room temperature for about 15–20 minutes until it’s soft but not melted.
  2. Mix ingredients: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, dried herbs, salt and pepper.
  3. Blend well: Use a fork or small spatula to mash and mix everything until smooth and evenly combined.
  4. Chill or serve:
  5. * For immediate use, spread it on warm bread, vegetables, or steak.
  6. * For later use, shape it into a log using parchment paper, wrap tightly, and refrigerate (lasts up to 1 week) or freeze (up to 3 months).

Notes

This is a small batch (1/4 cup) to have for one meal. I usually prep more and freeze extras for later.
